ACT!
is the number-one selling contact relationship
management (CRM) software from Sage which integrates
with Sage's market-leading mid-range accounting
solutions, including Line50, Line100 and MMS.
Alternatively, ACT! can be run independently of Sage
accounts, either networked or stand-alone.
ACT! gives
you all the tools you need to build your relationships
with your customers and keep track of your sales
opportunities. With ACT! the details of your
interaction with customers and prospects are stored in
one single central database, available for viewing or
editing by all employees across your organisation.

2007 is available for 1-5 users, ACT!
Professional 2007 for 6+ users, and ACT!
Professional for Workgroups 2007 for larger
workgroups and teams.
Features & Benefits
A
built-in diary facility allows you to schedule phone
calls, meetings and to-do items relating to a contact.
A diary item can be scheduled for a single contact or a group of
contacts, and once completed, a 'history record' for the item is
automatically attached to the contact, maintaining a complete record
of customer interaction. While 'completing' an item, a
'follow-up' activity can also be scheduled, for example where a
phone call requires a follow-up call at a future date.
Multiple calendar views including Daily, Weekly and Monthly are
available, and calendar pop-ups and alarms can be set to remind you
of the day's appointments.
Incomplete activities roll over to the next day to ensure that they
are not missed. Calls, meetings and to-do activities can be
filtered by priority, date range or user. Custom activity
types can also be created.
Microsoft Outlook integration means that emails you send
and receive can be attached to the related contact in ACT! to ensure
a complete history of all communication with your customers.
Microsoft Word integration allows you perform mail-merges
for marketing mail-shots with groups of contacts and record a
history on each individual contact record.
Track Sales Opportunities from initial enquiries through to
close by creating customisable 'Opportunity' records. Sales
Opportunities can be filtered by user, estimated close date, sales
stage, value, or probability of close. When working with an
Opportunity, you can simply click 'follow-up' to create a diary
activity, such as a phone call, with all the opportunity details.
When an Opportunity is finalised it can be marked as Won or Lost,
together with a reason for later analysis.
Pipeline and forecasting reports allow you to keep track of your
sales opportunities.
Link to Sage
accounts to see at a glance
whether customers are late payers or over their credit limits in
order to manage customer relationships more effectively.
Attach
electronic documents relating to customers, such as Word
documents containing terms of business and Excel spreadsheets
containing price lists, to individual contact records so that
information can be retrieved quickly when dealing with your
customers.
Import contact records from external data sources, such as
bought-in data for mailshots.
Download data onto a hand-held device eg. Palm OS and Pocket PC,
in order to access data instantly when you're on the go.
Synchronise remote data from your sales teams' laptops with your
main database, instantly updating any changes made off-line to your
contact records.
Customise the ACT! database by adding your own fields, tabs and
lookups to meet your own unique business requirements.
